Welcome to the [Dis]comfort Chronicles where we're tackling the things that bring us, and our community, the most [dis]comfort. In this series, we're speaking to real people from our community about what brings them the most comfort & how they've learnt to become more comfortable with themselves.

First up, we're so excited to introduce you to Lekenah – the face of our latest limited edition colour, Evergreen.

Name: Lekenah

Occupation: Mum-trepreneur

Location: London

Tell us a bit about yourself, Lekenah?

My name is Lekenah.

First and foremost, I am a mama to 2 beautiful babies. I recently started modelling and run an Insta page filled with motivational speaking/eating disorder hacks/all things real mum life/health and wellbeing - oh, and did I mention I'm a vegan singing chef?! Due to having so many avenues and interests I've narrowed it down to being a mum-trepreneur.

I love travelling, exploring and learning about new cultures, and FOOD! Most importantly, I love doing all these things with my family. We love to hit up a vegan market at any given chance, it’s our family THANG!

When do you feel most in your comfort zone?

When I’m at home and able to walk around naked.

When did you last push yourself out of your comfort zone?

Everyday I push myself out of my comfort zone, at the gym, on set shooting for underwear brands like Pantee!

How have you learnt to be more comfortable within yourself?

By expressing my freedom of speech using my bodies language.. ohhh that was good!

No but seriously .. once I conquered that fear, especially having major body dysmorphia, I realised I’m unstoppable. It takes time, for sure, but once you start anything and persevere you won’t believe fast forward down the line where you could be.

__________

A huge thanks to Lekenah for sharing her story with us and for being the face of Evergreen. We still aren't over how great this shoot turned out. You can shop our Limited Edition Evergreen sets whilst stocks last – once they're gone, they're gone!

If you're interested in being the face of one of our upcoming colour launches, please do get in touch by emailing us at partnerships@pantee.co.uk.
